Open-source systems, implemented so you keep the keys.

NetworkBites puts proven open-source software to work inside a business — commerce, ERP, and the platforms underneath — then customizes it to the way you actually operate. The code, the data, and the rights remain yours.

Selected work

Work that is already running.

Live commerce and live financials on proven open-source products. You see the same class of system we implement: storefront, ledger, and — when you need both — a clean join that does not lock you into a rented suite.

01 — Commerce

A production storefront on Vendure

Catalog, collections, cart, and checkout — live. We selected Vendure, stood it up, and operate it. The commerce engine is theirs. The running shop is the engagement.

02 — Operations

ERPNext, deployed for financial operations

We deployed and configured ERPNext — open-source ERP — as a system of record: general ledger, payables and receivables, financial statements, fixed assets, and tax support across subsidiaries and currencies. The product is ERPNext’s. The deployment, configuration, and ongoing operation are ours.

03 — Together

Commerce and financials, without forcing a bundle

Shop and ERP can stand alone. When both are in play, checkout stays on the storefront; stock, invoices, and fulfillment stay in the books. Orders cross. You keep both systems — and you can still run either without the other.

Capabilities

What we are engaged to do.

  1. 01

    Implementation & customization

We select, deploy, and shape open-source platforms around your processes. The outcome is a running system you own — not a generic install left for your team to finish.

  2. 02

    Commerce platforms

Storefronts, catalog, checkout, and the operational layer behind them — on open foundations, so merchandising is not trapped in a rented suite.

  3. 03

    Operations & ERP

Accounting, inventory, and the records a business is required to keep. Multi-entity, multi-currency, and reporting that finance can actually close against.

  4. 04

    Ongoing operation

After go-live we stay on the system: upgrades, hardening, and the unglamorous work of keeping the stack current. You still own every line of it.

Approach

We implement. You retain ownership.

The value is not a cheaper license. It is control: the ability to change the software, keep the data, and leave with both. That is the engagement model, not a footnote in a contract.

  1. Fit the system to the work

We start from how you operate, then adapt the platform. Workflows are not forced into a vendor’s happy path.

  2. Customize in the open

Changes live in code you can read, review, and keep. There is no proprietary overlay you have to rent forever to stay running.

  3. Handover is the default

Source, configuration, and data belong to you from day one. If the relationship ends, the system does not.

Contact

Tell us what needs to run.

If you are evaluating an open-source implementation, a migration off a rented suite, or a system already in production that needs to be owned properly — write with the context below. We will reply with a direct assessment, not a deck.
